Businesses can use social media for many things. They can create group pages for their business to have it advertised, or they can keep in touch with their employees easy. If a business is looking into hiring someone, they can check that person's social media page (Facebook or Myspace) to make sure that this person is eligible or behaved for the job. I use social media for many things. Using websites like facebook and myspace makes it easier to keep in touch with friends that may have moved away, or family that lives far away. All you have to do is look up their name and state, or you can go through your friends friend's list or family's list too see if their is anyone you know. Facebook even suggests people that you may know. It sees what mutual friends you have with a person and if there is any, they will show up n the right side of the screen. This is how I social media, to keep in touch with my friends and family!

Youtube is a very popular website used by the whole world everyday. Many people post their own videos on this website for thousands of others to watch. There are commonly webshows broadcasted on this website. People post up all kinds of videos varying from showing you how to do something, or something that is just plain funny. check out youtube today!

Prezi is a website of which you can make slide shows with. Its mainly used for business presentations. There are many uses for this website, but it costs money to subscribe for it. check out Prezi.com now!

Apps

The Google earth app is just like Google earth on the computer. You can search an area you would like to see or go to and it will show up. When you search for the area it recommends places to visit or go to eat at or stay. Customers rate it 5/5, and its free to buy!

The solitaire app is a small card game for your ipod or ipad. You put cards in 9 rows in the right order and try to get rid of all your cards to win. Its rated 4/5 by customers and its free to buy!

The Plants Vs. Zombies app is a game about well, plants vs. zombies. You get coins when the plants you place on the map kill zombies. Then with the coins you can put more plants out on the field each one with a different purpose. Customers rate it 5/5 and it costs 2.99$ to buy.

The Facebook app allows you to get on facebook with your ipod or ipad. You can stay connected easier with your friends with this app. It was rated 4/5 and it is free to buy.

The Skype app allows you to get on skype with your ipod or ipad. You can video chat with your friends or family. When someone tries to call you for a video chat it rings just like a phone. Customers rate it 4/5 and it is free to buy.

GoogleMaps

Google maps is a tool that you can use to find directions for places that you need to go, or if you just want to look at local businesses. It gives you the entire outlook of the world and all you have to do is zoom into an area you want to look into. To make it easier you can just search for the city or business and it'll bring you straight to the area.
